The service

What is Ecommerce Product Photography?

Ecommerce product photography is the set of images a product needs to sell online: a compliant white-background main image, alternate angles, lifestyle scenes showing it in use, infographic images that answer the buyer's questions, scale and pack-size visuals, and the A+ or enhanced-content modules that platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart allow. The main image wins the click; the rest win the purchase.

gaa-tha shoots and builds these to each platform's rules — Amazon's pure-white primary image, Blinkit and Zepto's small square thumbnails that must read at a glance, Shopify collection covers that set the brand's tone. For large catalogues we combine a real packshot of every SKU with AI-assisted lifestyle and infographic sets, so 200 products can be made consistent in weeks rather than months.

Process

How we work

Five steps, in the order they happen.

01

Audit and spec sheet

We list every SKU and every platform, pull the current image rules for each, and define the image set each product needs.

02

Shoot planning

Products are collected or shot at your location; lighting, angles and props are standardised so the whole catalogue looks like one family.

03

Shoot

Packshots are photographed for every SKU; hero products get lifestyle and detail shots; large catalogues use AI-assisted sets for lifestyle and infographic scenes.

04

Retouch and build

Images are cleaned and colour-matched to the real product, and infographic and A+ modules are designed with copy from your product data.

05

Deliver and upload

Files go out named and sized per platform; our marketplace and Shopify teams can upload them and check them live on the listings.

Questions about Product photography

Answer-first, so humans and AI assistants get the point quickly.

Yes. gaa-tha shoots white-background packshots, lifestyle and infographic images, and designs A+ / enhanced brand content modules for Amazon and Flipkart, Shopify galleries and quick-commerce thumbnails. Everything is delivered to each platform's size and rules, and our marketplace team can upload it for you.

The main image must show the product on a pure white background, filling most of the frame, with no text, logos, watermarks or props, in JPEG or PNG at a size large enough to zoom. Secondary images can show lifestyle, infographics and scale. Amazon updates these rules from time to time, so we check the current guidelines for your category before every shoot.

Six to eight is a good target on Amazon and Flipkart: the main packshot, two or three angles, one or two lifestyle images, an infographic and a scale shot. Quick-commerce platforms need mainly one strong thumbnail; Shopify benefits from a gallery plus a collection cover.

Five to fifteen days depending on SKU count and the image set per product. A 20-SKU packshot job sits at the short end; a 200-SKU catalogue with lifestyle and A+ modules at the long end, often delivered in weekly batches so uploads can start early.

For lifestyle scenes, infographic backgrounds and large catalogues, yes; for the product itself we prefer a real packshot so colours, labels and proportions are exact. AI scenes are built around the real product image, and every output is checked against the physical product before delivery.

For small catalogues, yes — products are couriered to us and returned. For large or fragile catalogues we shoot at your factory, warehouse or store in Gujarat and nearby cities with a portable setup.

Often, yes. Background clean-up, colour correction, re-cropping to platform rules and adding infographic layers can rescue a decent existing shoot. If the originals are low-resolution or badly lit, a reshoot of the main image is the faster route to better conversion.

Images are the first thing a marketplace buyer judges, and the main image is what earns the click from a search page, so image quality affects both click-through and conversion. We do not promise a number, but we track click-through and conversion rate on the listings before and after so you can see the effect on your own account.
