The service

What is Marketplace Ads Management?

Marketplace ads management is the ongoing work of running paid placements inside marketplaces — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display on Amazon, Product Listing Ads and Product Contextual Ads on Flipkart, and sponsored listings and banners on Myntra, Nykaa and AJIO — so that products win search positions and category placements at a cost that fits the margin. It covers campaign structure, keyword and placement selection, bids, budgets, negatives, event-period pushes and reporting on ACoS, TACoS and the organic rank the ads help build.

At gaa-tha marketplace ads are run against the unit economics of each SKU rather than a single account-wide target. Launch SKUs are allowed a higher cost of sale to earn rank and reviews; mature SKUs are held inside their margin; event periods get their own budgets and bid rules. Ad spend stays in your own ad accounts and is reported alongside organic sales so you can see whether the ads are growing the business or just replacing sales you already had.

Scope

What's included

  • Ad account audit or setup on Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Myntra Ads and Nykaa or AJIO placements
  • Campaign architecture by product, match type and intent: branded, category, competitor and defensive
  • Keyword and placement harvesting from search-term reports, with negatives to cut waste
  • Weekly bid, budget and placement optimisation against per-SKU ACoS and TACoS targets
  • Sponsored Brands and Display creative, including brand-store and video placements where available
  • Event-period plans and budgets for Prime Day, Great Indian Festival, Big Billion Days, End of Reason Sale and platform sale events
  • Coordination with listing, pricing, stock and reviews so ads are not sent to pages that cannot convert
  • Monthly report on spend, sales, ACoS, TACoS, organic rank movement and new-to-brand customers

Process

How we work

Five steps, in the order they happen.

01

Audit and targets

We review current campaigns, listings, margins and stock, then set ACoS and TACoS targets per SKU group — launch, growth and mature — instead of one number for the account.

02

Structure and keywords

Campaigns are rebuilt by product and intent, keywords and placements are chosen from search-term and competitor data, and negatives are set from day one.

03

Launch and learn

Campaigns go live with daily checks in the first two weeks to catch runaway spend, then bids and budgets are moved to the terms and placements that convert.

04

Events and scale

Event budgets, bid rules and creative are planned ahead of Prime Day, Big Billion Days and End of Reason Sale, and winners are scaled with rank as the check.

05

Report and refine

A monthly report shows spend, sales, ACoS, TACoS, organic rank and cannibalisation by SKU, and sets the next month's budget and tests.

Questions about Marketplace ads

Answer-first, so humans and AI assistants get the point quickly.

It runs paid placements inside marketplaces — Amazon Sponsored Products, Brands and Display, Flipkart PLA and PCA, and sponsored listings and banners on Myntra, Nykaa and AJIO — from campaign structure and keyword selection to weekly bid work, event budgets and reporting. gaa-tha does this on a monthly fee with the ad accounts owned by you.

ACoS is ad spend divided by the sales those ads produced; TACoS is ad spend divided by total sales including organic. ACoS tells you whether a campaign is efficient; TACoS tells you whether ads are growing the whole business or just replacing organic sales. We report both and manage to TACoS over time.

Enough to gather useful data on each SKU group within a few weeks and to defend your own brand terms, sized from your margin and the target cost of sale rather than a fixed rule. Launch SKUs need more relative to sales; mature SKUs should need less as organic rank builds. We set a starting budget per platform and adjust monthly.

No. Ads send traffic to the listing, so a weak main image, incomplete attributes, no reviews or an uncompetitive price wastes the spend. We fix the listing and pricing first or in parallel, then scale ads once conversion is sound.

With a separate event plan: higher budgets and bid ceilings for the days that matter, creative and deals aligned, stock confirmed, and daily monitoring during the event. Budgets are wound down after the event so the account does not keep bidding at event levels.

Yes. Flipkart PLA and PCA, Myntra Ads and Nykaa and AJIO placements each have their own tools and rules, and we run them from one team with a shared view of budget and results, so spend goes to the platform where each SKU converts best.

Yes. Every ad account is created in your business's name or accessed through your existing seller account, spend is billed to you by the platform, and all campaign history stays with you if we stop working together.
