The service

What is D2C Brand Launch?

A D2C brand launch is the end-to-end process of taking a product from concept to its first customers online: positioning and naming, brand identity and packaging, product photography and copy, an ecommerce store with payments and shipping, tracking, a launch campaign and the operating rhythm for the first weeks. Done as one project it avoids the usual gap where the brand agency finishes and the store and ads start from scratch.

gaa-tha runs launches for founders and for manufacturers moving from white-label or B2B supply into their own consumer brand. Strategy comes first — who the buyer is, what the product is for, why it costs what it costs — and every asset from the logo to the first reel is made against that. The Shopify store, Meta ads, influencer seeding and WhatsApp follow-ups are built by the same team, so launch day is a campaign, not a hope.

Process

How we work

Five steps, in the order they happen.

01

Strategy and positioning

We define the buyer, the category story, the launch range and the price architecture, and write the brand brief every team works from.

02

Brand and packaging

Name, identity, packaging and label artwork are designed, tested with real buyers where possible and prepared for print.

03

Store and content

The Shopify store is built while photography, copy and the first month of social content are produced in parallel.

04

Pre-launch and launch

A waitlist or early-access offer warms the audience, then ads, influencer drops, reels and WhatsApp go live together on launch day.

05

First month and handover

Orders, replies, reviews and ad performance are managed daily, then reported with a plan for the growth phase.

Good to know

Questions about D2C brand launch

Answer-first, so humans and AI assistants get the point quickly.

Positioning, naming and brand identity, packaging, product photography, a Shopify store with payments, shipping and tracking, thirty days of launch content, a launch campaign across Meta ads, influencers and WhatsApp, and the first month of operations. gaa-tha delivers it as one phased project with one timeline.

Eight to fourteen weeks from brief to first orders, if the product is ready. Branding and packaging take three to five weeks, the store and content run in parallel for four to six, and pre-launch and launch take two to three. Packaging print lead times and product readiness are the usual delays.

Brand first, at least a minimum viable identity, because packaging, the store and every ad depend on it and redoing them later costs more than doing them once. The launch package is sequenced so the identity is locked before store design starts.

Your own Shopify store first for margin, customer data and brand control, with Amazon and quick commerce added once the product, reviews and creative are proven. For some categories — commodity staples, impulse snacks — a marketplace or Blinkit listing can come sooner, and we advise by category.

A product that is formulated or manufactured, its cost and target price, any licences your category needs such as FSSAI for food or cosmetic registrations, GST registration and a bank account. Everything else — name, identity, packaging, store, content and campaign — is part of the package.

Separate from the project fee, keep a launch media budget for the first four to eight weeks that can buy enough purchase data to learn what converts; we size it from your unit economics in the strategy phase rather than quoting a fixed figure. Influencer fees and samples are budgeted alongside it.

Yes. Most launches move into a monthly retainer covering store management, performance marketing, social content and, when ready, Amazon and quick-commerce onboarding, with the same team that built the brand.
